This day is in acknowledgment for all the hard-working small business owners. It’s no easy feat to continue running your own business, but without small businesses- The American economy wouldn’t survive. March 29th is the day that small businesses get recognized for their achievements.
Small businesses in America are the heart and blood of the economy, they create jobs, feeding families and help support American industries. According to The Washington Post, the last 2 years have been the largest gain for small firms since the Recession. They credit with small businesses with adding more jobs than their larger corporate counterparts. There are currently 29 million small businesses that operate in the US generating 59 million jobs. Those are serious numbers that are deserving of recognition!
